Christmas (1998): Foresters use a sleigh to transport fir trees they cut in a forest some 40 km (25 miles) south of Moscow on Tuesday, December 22, 1998. Most Russians prefer freshly-cut fir trees to decorate their apartments on New Year. The trees cost far less than artificial trees.
