Hezbollah gives coffins to Israel in prisoner swap
ROSH HANIKRA, Israel - Lebanon's Hezbollah guerrillas turned over to Israel two coffins containing the bodies of Israeli soldiers captured two years ago, setting in motion a dramatic prisoner exchange between the bitter enemies Wednesday.

Hezbollah delivers remains of two Israeli soldiers
LEBANON/ISRAEL BORDER (Reuters) - Hezbollah handed the bodies of two Israeli soldiers to the Red Cross on Wednesday to be exchanged for Lebanese prisoners held by Israel in a deal viewed as a triumph by the Lebanese Shi'ite guerrilla group.

Pakistan says U.N. favorable to Bhutto inquiry

Zimbabwe rivals enter second day of talks in South Africa
PRETORIA (AFP) - Zimbabwe's ruling party and opposition held a second day of talks in South Africa on Friday as the UN delayed a vote on fresh sanctions against Robert Mugabe's regime after his one-man election.

Developing economies don't back G-8 climate goal
TOYAKO, Japan - A joint gathering of major developed and developing nations on Wednesday agreed that climate change was "one of the great global challenges of our time" and pledged to back a United Nations effort to conclude new climate pact by 2009. The major economies said they supported longterm and midterm goals for greenhouse-gas reductions, but endorsed no targets.
